What Blingl is
Blingl is building a modern dating experience for gay men. Today we may offer information, waitlist signup, and support through the site; additional features may roll out over time. The Services are offered “as available” during this early stage.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate information where we ask for it and to keep any account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defraud, or discriminate against others.
- Post or share illegal content, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that exploits or harms minors in any way.
- Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- Scrape, spider, overload, or interfere with the Services; reverse engineer our software except where the law allows; or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ data.
- Use the Services for spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or any illegal purpose.
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
Your content
If you submit content to us (for example profile text, photos, or messages when those features exist), you retain ownership of your content. You grant Blingl a non-exclusive license to host, use, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely to operate, improve, promote, and secure the Services. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.
Our intellectual property
The Services, branding, and related materials are owned by Blingl or our licensors. Except for the limited rights these Terms grant you, we reserve all rights.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Dating and social products involve real people. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users or for any interactions online or offline. You use the Services and interact with others at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blingl and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred (100) currency units in which we primarily operate, if you have not paid us anything.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum amount the law allows.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Blingl and our affiliates against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our intentional misconduct.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, or for operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time.
Changes
We may modify the Services or these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date when we post changes. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Blingl regarding the Services and supersede prior agreements on the same subject. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
